Hi, I’m Louise Kerr, Accredited Practising Dietitian, and the founder of DishContent. 

I founded DishContent out of a determination to share what I’ve learned about eating for health and happiness.

I learned many years ago how precious life is, and how important it is to make the most of life by making decisions that leave us happy and healthy.

When I was 33, with two children under 6, my husband died of cancer. 

It wasn’t what I expected life would hold for me. But experiencing this taught me the importance of controlling what I could, in the midst of a life over which we have so little control. It set me on a mission to make the most of life, and led me to support others to do the same. 

I completed a degree in Physiology and Sport Science, followed by Masters degrees in Medical Science in Nutrition Research, as well as Nutrition and Dietetics.

My studies taught me our diet and health are two things we can take charge of. Modifying our diet can change how we feel, think and act, and ultimately how we live our lives. I’ve seen the impact of diet on mental health and wellbeing. Research is revealing how we can change behaviour, mood and brain patterns by changing our eating patterns. And I want to share this with you.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve been able to inspire hundreds of people to improve their health, both mental and physical, and achieve sustainable lifestyle change!
